We aim to revolutionise the food industry in order to protect the planet we love. Our goal is to provide more climate-friendly food concepts that help manufacturers significantly reduce their carbon footprint.

And we’re starting with chocolate: it not only drives us but is also loved and eaten by millions. ChoViva makes it easier for us all to contribute to saving our planet without sacrificing our passion for chocolate.

We’re on a mission to create more sustainable and locally sourced food ingredients by developing innovative technologies and methods that help us save 500 million tons of CO₂ emissions each year.

Planet A Foods was founded in 2021 by the chocolate siblings Sara und Maximilian Marquart.

Dr. Sara Marquart

Sara is an experienced food technologist and determined to unveil the secret of the perfect indulgence. She is a specialist in the field of biotechnology and loves the fascinating interplay of taste and aroma.

Dr. Maximilian Marquart

Max is an accomplished engineer and successful multi-entrepreneur. He has extensive experience in the B2B-sector, particularly in sales management and corporate development.

We are a group of passionate food technologists, supply chain and manufacturing experts, and marketeers who want to reduce our carbon footprint while still enjoying the delicious side of life. We are driven by the things we love - good food and our planet - and the strong belief in a better future. Together we can achieve much more than we think - we just have to take the first step.
